For the 12th year in a row - Mustang wins the holiday blood drive over Yukon! Mustang’s final numbers were 72 successful donations on a goal of 82. Yukon’s final numbers were 37 on a goal of 54. With that said… that is 109 total donations… and since every 1 donations saves 3 lives, that means 327 local lives will be impacted this holiday season. There is not a better gift that could be given!

Do you recognize this individual or their car? This person dumped a dog at the Dog Park at approximately 7:50 AM this morning, the third dog dumped within the last week. There are numbers posted at the Animal Welfare Center to call if one can no longer keep an animal in order to prevent dumping like this.
This is a criminal act and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Please contact the non-emergency number at the Mustang Police Department if you have any information - 376-2488. Please share.

According to the Department of Transportation, during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend of 2022, there were 326 passenger vehicle occupants killed in traffic crashes across the nation, and 43% of those were unrestrained. Choosing not to wear your seatbelt can be deadly.
