This afternoon at their Annual Convention, Mustang Fire Department Lieutenant Levi Setliff was recognized as the Firefighter of the Year for 2024 by the American Legion Department of Oklahoma.

This afternoon, a promotion ceremony was conducted for four Mustang Police Officers.
Beginning at the top left and moving clockwise, Officer Maurice Hawkins was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, while Sergeants Seth Roecker, Cody McDaniel and Derek Hunt were all promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Pack the Park on July 19, 2024 - This FREE event will have Food Trucks, a Side Walk Chalk Contest, Inflatables and a Movie featuring Lilo and Stitch. Food trucks include Wild Bill’s, Came’s Tacos Y Mas and Happy Camper begin serving at 6 PM and the Movie in the Park begins at dusk.

Six years ago the City of Mustang began requiring the groups that are afforded the opportunity to raise funds by selling fireworks to also be involved in the monumental task of clean-up on July 5th. The public is also invited to assist with the clean-up efforts.
