The City of Mustang provides an "Employee Spotlight" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly. The Employee Spotlight will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee.
The August Employee Spotlight is Sgt. Jeremy Collinson, Mustang Police Department.

You represent the Fraternal Order of the Police in negotiations with the City of Mustang. What tidbit of information regarding that process can you share that you think the public would be surprised learning about? Preparation begins far before your next contract negotiation period, which for our union right now is approximately 3 years from now. Many hours are spent off duty and away from your family to prepare and maximize the time spent at the table with the City. While there are very trying times during this process, the investment and satisfaction are very fulfilling for both sides when an agreement has been made.
