At last night's regular meeting, the City Council unanimously approved a proclamation declaring the month of April as "World Autism Month" in Mustang to increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder.

The City of Mustang was notified that on Monday, April 8, construction crews would begin an overlay of Southwest 59th Street, beginning at N. Clear Springs Road and running west to Gregory Road. The road is located in Oklahoma City but may impact commuters from the City of Mustang area. The overlay is part of the State Highway 152 project and is expected to be utilized as a detour once work begins on the highway.
