For the 12th year in a row - Mustang wins the holiday blood drive over Yukon! Mustang’s final numbers were 72 successful donations on a goal of 82. Yukon’s final numbers were 37 on a goal of 54. With that said… that is 109 total donations… and since every 1 donations saves 3 lives, that means 327 local lives will be impacted this holiday season. There is not a better gift that could be given!

Make your Holiday season a great one by avoiding brown Friday. Fats, Oils, and Grease are a costly problem for municipalities everywhere, including in Mustang. Improper disposal of FOG can clog our sewer systems, leading to expensive repairs and higher operating costs. Over time, this impacts all of us by driving up utility bills. This holiday season, you can make a difference. Help us protect our sewer system by properly disposing of FOG: • Pour cooled grease into a container, seal it, and throw it in the trash. • Scrape food scraps into the trash, not the sink. • Use strainers in your sink to catch food particles. Together, we can keep our utility costs down and our sewer system running smoothly. Thank you for doing your part!
