A copy of the proposed FY 2020-21 Budget was provided to the City Council on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. As a result of the Covid-19 crisis, staff then scheduled budget review meetings with no more than two City Councilors at a time the week of May 4, 2020. The proposed FY 2020-21 Budget will be placed on the agenda for a Public Hearing and subsequent action by the City Council at their regular meeting on June 2, 2020. It is anticipated that this meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers providing the necessary benchmarks outlined in Governor Stitt's "Open Up and Recover Safely" plan are realized. If they are not realized, the Public Hearing will be conducted via a Zoom meeting platform as has occurred in April and May.
As in all previous years since 2013, any and all questions asked by the City Council and the public regarding the proposed FY 2020-21 Budget,as well as the answers to those questions provided by staff, will be added to this section of the City's website for information purposes. Additionally, the PowerPoint provided during oth the individual budget review meetings with the City Council as well as the scheduled Public Hearing will also be added to this section of the City's website.
In addition to the proposed FY 2020-21 Budget being available on the website, a hard copy is also available for public review at the Mustang Library.
