On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Oklahoma Governor Stitt mandated that all non-essential businesses must close within any of the 19 counties in Oklahoma that currently have a positive Covid-19 case. The City of Mustang, being located entirely within Canadian County, falls under this order as there are 4 positive test results within Canadian County. Businesses that are considered non-essential include the following:
- Restaurants (dine-in facilities only). Takeout and/or curbside pick-up is permitted.
- Bars
- Fitness Facilities
- Hair Salons
- Nail Salons
- Tattoo Parlors
- Any other business where more than 10 people can gather in a social setting.
- A link containing the State of Oklahoma's definition of non-essential businesses is included below.
