The City of Mustang provides a " Spotlight Employee" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly. The Spotlight Employee will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee.
The February Employee Spotlight is Andrea Robertson, Lead Utility Billing Coordinator.
How long have you worked for the City of Mustang? I have worked for the City of Mustang full-time for 15 years.
Where were you born? (Hospital is not a permitted answer) I was born in El Paso, Texas.
How long have you lived in Mustang? I have been a resident of Mustang since 1972 and lived in my current home since 1988.
Are you married? If so, for how long? Children? Yes, I have been married for 37 years. I have four children and two grandchildren.
What do you enjoy the most about working for the City of Mustang? I most enjoy being part of the community family.
What project have you been a part of while employed by the City of Mustang that you enjoyed the most? Utility Billing. I have enjoyed seeing the utility billing services upgraded through the use of better equipment. There are fewer mistakes and it results in better communication with citizens.
Favorite Food? Steak...is there anything else? While not a food, Dr. Pepper is a must.
Favorite Recording Artist? Rush...and believe it or not, AC/DC.
Do you have a secret skill or talent? Math, gardening, cross-stitching.
You are someone that has worn several different hats within the Finance Department during your tenure. What do you like the most about your current position? Working with the public trying to make them feel appreciated. .
