The City of Mustang will be providing an "Employee Spotlight" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly.  The Employee Spotlight will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee.

The October Employee Spotlight is Tammi Noblitt, City Treasurer.

How long have you worked for the City of Mustang?   I began my employment with the City of Mustang in July of  2009, so a little over 14yrs.

Where were you born?  Oklahoma...I grew up in Midwest City.

How long have you lived in Mustang?  24 yrs – moved in on May 3, 1999 – Day of the BIG one (tornado)

Are you married?  Yes, I have been married for 36 years.

Children?  3 – Steven, Jordan & Jessica

What do you enjoy the most about working for the City of Mustang?  Service to my community.  It’s not always a box of chocolates but every day is an adventure and sometimes you can make a difference in someone’s day.

What project have you been a part of while employed by the City of Mustang that you enjoyed the most?  Not necessarily during my employment BUT … I volunteered on the Mustang Softball Association board for several years while working a FT job and raising kids.  We were a part of bringing the softball fields to the top of the hill (Wildhorse).  We kept these fields rockin’ with league and tournament play from March to October each year.  We have one of the best parks in the state and we were the park to play at.  It was a lot of fun to meet others from across the United States and host several national tournaments for all ages of fastpitch.  Those who know me know I love that sport.   It was fun!

Favorite Food?  Pizza

Favorite Recording Artist?  I like a variety of genres but my favorite artist would have to be James Taylor

Do you have a secret skill or talent?  I play the fiddle (not the violin)

You have recently become a grandmother.  How have things changed in your life with the arrival of grandchildren and what are their names?  Grandkids are FUN!  They can certainly keep you on your toes and there is always something going on.  It’s a blessing to watch these little humans grow into wonderful people who learn the value of life and how to give along the way.   I have four grandchildren beginning with Brenna 18  -  Jace 10  -  Everett 2  and our newest little blessing Miss Olive 3 mos.
