Itinerant Vendors/ Solicitor's License
Is your organization planning to go door-to-door selling goods or services? Are you selling ice cream or other food products curbside? If you answered "yes" to either question, you may need to register as a Peddlers/Solicitor with the City of Mustang as required by Chapter 82 of the City Code.
City Code defines a "peddler" as any person who travels on foot or by any type of conveyance from place to place, house to house, from street to street, or upon any street or public place, carrying, conveying or transporting goods, foodstuffs, products, wares, merchandise, or other thing of value for sale or making sales of such articles to purchasers.
A "solicitor" is any person who travels on foot or by any type of conveyance from place to place, house to house, from street to street, or upon any street or public place, taking or attempting to take orders for the sale of goods, foodstuffs, products, wares, merchandise, services, magazines, periodicals, insurance, or other thing of value for future delivery or for services to be performed or furnished in the future.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR A SOLICITOR'S LICENSE?
Complete the Solicitor's registration form
File fingerprints and a photo with the police department, located at 650 E State Hwy 152.
**If you are receiving payment prior to delivery of goods or services, the City of Mustang requires a surety bond of $500.000 conditioned upon making final delivery of the goods ordered. **If not, then this step does not apply.
Purchase license at the permits and licenses desk at City Hall, 1501 N. Mustang Rd. The fees are:
$50 per day,
$300 per week, or
$1,000 per year
