Alcoholic Beverage Licensing
Prior to pursuing local licensing, it may be advisable to determine what licensing is required by the State of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Department of Commerce operates a site to help you with this question. If you are a building contractor or an electrician, plumber or mechanical contractor you may also want to check out the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board web site for state licensing informaton. If you are planning to manufacture or distribute alcoholic beverages, you will also need to check the Canadian County Court Clerk and the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Licensing and Enforcement Commission websites.
BEER, WINE & LIQUOR
Any establishment manufacturing or selling beer, wine or liquor for consumption on or off premises must have a license to do so. Alcoholic beverage licensing fees are in addition to the business license requirement described above. No license will be issued prior to the applicant providing proof of state and county licensing.
Fees are as follows:
Brewer - $1,000.00
Oklahoma Winemaker - $50.00
Package store - $400.00
Mixed Beverage - $600.00
